Lady Gaga is a guilty pleasure of mine, and nothing makes me happier than when a handful of house music superstars take it upon themselves to remix her work. The Skrillex remix of "Bad Romance", the Afrojack remix of "Alejandro", the list goes on. Her newest single "Born This Way" is attracting a crew of remix-hungry DJs that absolutely kill it. I present to you a trio of filthy remixes from Dada Life, Michael Woods, and L.A. Riots. Each one is different, and each one is awesome. Generally they stick to the electro-house realm but especially with Michael Woods, there is some progressive action in there, enjoy.

Fresh Til' Death
A lot of new shit dropped this weekend, so here I present the best of the best of what I have heard for you. Pretty eclectic post here, a little something for everybody to enjoy. Take it from Dr. Steve Brule, these tunes are good for your health!
Benny Benassi ft. T-Pain - Electroman (Original Mix)
This track is gonna be huge, not only is Benassi in his early 40s and still cranking out some of the best music of the entire house genre, but he is able to switch up his style and incorporate T-Pain to make this jam more mainstream and enjoyable for everyone.
Lupe Fiasco ft. Skylar Grey - Words I Never Said
Lupe's next album is gaining hype and is pretty much guaranteed to be fire. This jam is no different, add in the beautiful voice of Skylar Grey and you have an unbeatable track.
Flux Pavilion - Bass Cannon
I'm not sure how new this song actually is, but I heard it for the first time last week. Real grimey, good stuff from Flux.
Lil Wayne - Green & Yellow
Came out just before the Superbowl, should be the Green Bay anthem for the next year. Great game, great song.

Daft Punk+Tron=Holy Santa Claus Shit
For anyone who is unaware, the upcoming movie Tron: Legacy looks unreal, and Daft Punk is doing the entire score for the movie, meaning every song you hear in the movie will be a Daft Punk original, new track. Shit is in 3D too, dear lord. The soundtrack drops on December 7th and will have at least 12+ original Daft Punk tracks, and while they have been producing on other people's shit for a few years now, this will be their first full length album since Alive 2007, thats right, 2007. Here is a sick remixed cut off the soundtrack which aired with a 2 minute teaser trailer the other day, they only gave away a snippet of the song, but here it is in its entirety, "Derezzed" remixed by NTEIBINT.

Time to Get Wild(style)
Bassnectar dropped his new 7 track EP "Wildstyle" today and let me tell you it is absolutely sick. Purchased it on iTunes immediately since it is literally impossible to find a free download. However, this is one of those times that I absolutely encourage music fans out there to buy this album and support the artist. Bassnectar releases a ton of shit that just gets leaked on the internet so be a dear and buy the album on iTunes. That being said, I can provide you with a little sample of the album for your listening pleasure. I am sure everybody already heard "Wildstyle Method", the title track off the album. Well, the album version is 3 minutes longer and is definitely worth having a listen. Here are my favorite 3 tracks off the album exclusive here for download.
Bassnectar - Hot Right Now (Bassnectar Remix)
This song bumps super duper hard. It's a remix of a rap song so the verses sound oh so nice over the dubstep madness that Bassnectar provides. Heavy, heavy bass as usual.
Bassnectar - The 808 Track
This one has some rap undertones as well, there is a guy rapping throughout pretty much the entire song. Catchy as shit and backs up the title with some serious 808s in the background. Seriously, the bass on all of these songs is unbelievable. Signature Bassnectar sound.
Bassnectar - Encore (ft. ill.gates)
The last song before Bassnectar goes into his random electronic track "Fun With Synthesizers" (the only track I don't really like on the album). Encore is a little bit different, it's a collaboration with another sick dubstep artist, ill.gates, so you can tell where they play off each other in the track and what they bring to the table. No vocals in this one so it's much more focused on the bass and drums, which are unreal. Enjoy all three tracks and BUY THE ALBUM!

A new face
It turns out that studying abroad does occasionally require a bit of work, so I'm helping out Beantown with a post here and there. Thanks for the opportunity.
We all know Taio Cruz's "Dynamite" as a phenomenal song that always gets people moving. Mixin' Marc takes it to the next level with his remix. Give it a spin and you won't look back. I haven't.
Taio Cruz - Dynamite (Mixin Marc Radio Edit)
Bring yourself back to 2005 with Stunt's "Raindrops", a song that I never get tired of and probably never will. Extra points if this track is paired with the mesmerizing G-Force visualizer plugin for iTunes. A download link for G-Force can be found here.

Fresh New Post
So I have just returned from the annual UEA Lax pub crawl, which of course was legendary. We hit up 4 or 5 pubs around town and ended at a sweet club (Essence), hilarious name I know but the tunes were bumpin. The jam I heard all night was the Duck Sauce remix of their Barbara Streisand song courtesy of Afrojack. Feels great to get fucked up with the Lax crew, despite the fact I'm in Norwich and the lax isn't exactly up to the US par. Still, this song had me goin all night. Jammin left and right, fucked up in the head I couldn't stop humming ooooh a oooh ooh a ooh ooooooh ooooh. Enjoy this fresh jam courtesy of Afrojack and the geniuses behind the Duck Sauce jam that is sweeping the nation right now. I have also included a few Skrillex jams, considering he is now the official opener for Deadmau5 for the NYC show and many more shows to come. Skrillex is sick, download all dis shit. Until tomorrow, I'm out.
