H.A.M.

This absolute freak of a tune dropped last night at midnight.  It's a huge single from Kanye West & Jay-Z and is the first off an upcoming collaboration album "Watch the Throne".  The beat is monstrous and the lyrics are straight up fire as usual from two of the biggest and best in the game.  After only a few listens this track has vaulted to one of my current favorites.  Get ready to go H.A.M (Hard as a mothafucka)...

Leftovers

3 weeks left over here in the UK, and then its back on some home soil.  Semester flew by.  And to make things even more crack it snowed yesterday, the earliest the UK has ever seen snow.  Here are some leftover (but still firey hot) jams from this week.  Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!  Keep ragin.

Deadmau5 - Cthulhu Sleeps (Original Mix)
This song leaked (along with the rest of the album "4x4=12") this week and I gotta say, the album is good. It's true that it is a lot of stuff that he put in his live show this past year, but he touched everything up and perfected it for the album.  This is one of my favorite tracks on the new joint, but there are a handful of other good ones; Some Chords, Raise Your Weapon, & Right This Second to name a few.

Professor Green feat. Lily Allen - Just Be Good to Me (Joker Remix)
Pretty unique jam right here, Professor Green is a young rapper from the UK who is pretty popular around here.  He collaborates with dubstep artists frequently.  This re-work of his song "Just Be Good to Green" has a dubstep flow throughout it but has enough mix of vocals and instrumental to make it still fairly hip-hop.  Good stuff overall.  Must download.

T.I. - Welcome to the World (feat. Kanye West & Kid Cudi)
The star power on this track is enough to make it worth a listen.  Three of the best in the game crank out a single to T.I.'s new album "No Mercy", which will be released on December 7th.  Awesome song.

Sunday SUPER MEGA ULTRA POST

Alright bitches, I usually have Sunday as "Chill Music Sunday" so everyone can kick back and listen to some chilled out tunes, but you know what?  Sometimes you need change.  So here I present to you a Sunday SUPER MEGA ULTRA Post, 7 BRAND NEW songs for you all to jam out from every genre that I love to cover.  Don't ask, just download.  Hope Kid Cudi was awesome for everyone back at the Dick, he has some new song on Hiphopearly that I can't seem to download because the link is fucked up on the site, but anyways, enjoy the tunes.

Flux Pavilion - I Can't Stop
Flux Pavilion is the shit and so is this song, heavy as shit dubstep banger.  Wherever that vocal sample is from too it's awesome.  This one along withe "Haunt You" don't even hit iTunes or anything until next week.  This shit is as new as it comes.

Flux Pavilion - Haunt You
Another BRAND NEW track from Flux Pavilion.  If you don't like these guys, then you don't like dubstep, straight up.  Dubstep is in the heat of becoming popular in the United States, and I am sure you will see these guys popping up all over everybody's music collections in the States soon enough.

Steve Aoki & Afrojack - Let Me See Your Hands (Mr. Physix Remix)
Two of the hottest in the electronic music game, Steve Aoki and Afrojack.  They have made a few sick songs together but this remix is that new new shit courtesy of Big10HouseMafia.com.  Absolute banger right here.

Matty Light - End of the World
Some American dubstep!  Who knew!  This track is sick, the guy gets some solid vocals in there, hailing from Brooklyn, NY, Matty Light has an awesome name and some awesome beats.  Be sure to get this one, you have to right click on the link to download, sorry.

Kanye West ft. Lupe Fiasco, Pharrell - Don't Stop
First, Kanye is straight killing it these days, when the fuck is his album going to drop?  Second, Lupe Fiasco continues to be one of, if not the best act in the rap game these days, his next album should be the shit too.  Third, flawless production from Pharrell as usual.  Final - an absolutely fantastic rap song.  Download for sure.

TECH N9NE ft. Krizz Kaliko - Bad Season
TECH is back!  After releasing a nothing but mediocre album last year (K.O.D.), he has been coming out with some sick mixtape shit and I am sure his next full length album will be the tits.  If you are a fan of his on facebook you gotta check out some of the stuff he has been posting, great music and some goofy ass videos as it is TECH N9NE.

Yo Gotti ft. Wale, J.Cole, Wiz Khalifa - Look in the Mirror (Remix)
Alright, Yo Gotti is a serious guilty pleasure of mine.  He raps about nothing but cocaine and bitches, but what's not to love about cocaine and bitches?  To add to that, he gets two of my favorite rappers and two of the best these days in my opinion, Wale and Wiz Khalifa, on the track.  These 2 guys owned the mixtape scene this summer and they continue to produce great shit.

That does it for the super, jacked up, mega, ultra post.  Hope you like all dat shit.

Thirsty Thursday

Its 1 pound drink night for students at the clubs in Norwich tonight, better believe I'm taking full advantage.  The jew in me can't let me pass up this offer.  So that means it's time to get started early.  It's about 5:15 right now in the UK, pregame tipoff in T-minus 2 hours.  Which means we all need some fresh music.  Here are 3 bangin tracks of all different varieties, I got some rap, dubstep, and electro in there for you.  The best of the best from these past few days.  Pump the fists high.

Kanye West ft. Drake - All of the Lights (Ghetto University)
Bumpin beat in the background to a great song.  I have to say I absolutely hated Kanye's last album (808s and Heartbreak), but whenever this next one drops it's going to be sick.  All his recent mixtape releases have been real hot.

Kid Sister - Pro Nails (Rusko Remix)
Ever since I caught on to Rusko over the summer I have been loving him.  Saw a video of his opening for Crystal Castles this summer at the HOB in Boston and it was awesome.  He's playing a show there again in the winter in Boston for anyone interested.  His dubs are always great.

The Sonixx - Losing Control
As it will tell you if you follow the link, this track shares a frighteningly similar style with early Wolfgang Gartner stuff.  The way he chops up the samples so much and just throws them all back in your face at once is great.  Genuine electro banger.  You can listen to all the Sonixx music for free on their website, they have some good stuff.  thesonixx.com

NFL Sunday

Ahh, the beauty of the NFL.  God put Sunday and football on the same day for a reason.  Superb way to kill time on a Sunday recovering from whatever shenanigans you may have taken part in the night before.  Also a great way to procrastinate any work that you may have told youself you would get done over that past weekend.  And of course, nothing is better at halftime than bloking a smunt with your mates and listenin to some great music.  Here are a few nice songs to play when your body can't take any more house or electro.

Lil Wayne - Bill Gates
Ever since Weezy somehow released a mixtape over the summer (It's called RED, you can download it HERE) I have thoroughly enjoyed most of the songs he has released.  This one is honestly the best he has had, there is no absurd auto tune or any layering of Wayne saying random shit in the background or wheezing and coughing, lighting up blunts in the studio, etc.  It sounds like it is straight off the Carter 2, which is, in my opinion, the best studio album he ever came out with.  If you like rap, you NEED to download this.

Gucci Mane - Haterade (ft. Nicki Minaj & Pharrell)
Pharrell's productions are always great, the man can make a beat.  Gucci doesn't ruin the song by taking forever to say anything or yell out "Yaooooooooo, It's Guuccciiiiiiiii" for the first 20 seconds of the track.  His verse is actually pretty good, better than Nicki Minaj's, one of the more quality tracks you'll find when sifting through his ruthlessly large amount of mixtape releases.

Kanye West - Runaway (ft. Pusha T)
This song I have already listened to pretty much nonstop for the 12 days that it's been in my library.  Kanye West's new album is going to be unreal.  The 10 or so songs he has released through various mixtapes have all been great ("G.O.O.D. Friday", "Power", "Monster", "Devil in a New Dress", etc.), so I would check them all out if you haven't.  His new stuff seems to be spreading pretty quickly though.

Trae the Truth ft. Lupe Fiasco - Bad Don't Seem So Wrong
Although this is technically a Trae the Truth song, this one is all about Lupe.  I can't fucking wait for the next Lupe Fiasco album, he has been going in on everything he has recorded for mixtapes in the past year and he is one of my favorite artists of all time.  Supposedly, this upcoming album is going to be a 3 DISC, 40 TRACK PRODUCTION, rumored to be titled "The LupE.N.D.", meaning he is going to retire after releasing this album.  Just rumors though, only time will tell, enjoy.
